I have a feeling that this post is going to be short and sweet, since I haven’t slept all week and I can’t keep my eyes open…
So, I said last week that I was going to start re-outlining my Esthree Postbuild story into a trilogy.
It’s going really, really slowly.
It’s probably partially down to lack of sleep. It’s probably partially down to me letting the ideas incubate for a few weeks before I commit to them.
It’s probably mostly the sleep thing.
At a very high level, I know the entire story end-to-end. I know the third part pretty well, because it’s already mostly drafted. And I know what needs to happen in the first part, but not to nearly enough detail to start breaking down scenes.
I’ve been using brainstorming and freewriting to pull together the bits and pieces of the story in my head.
And it’s slow going, but – like I said – I haven’t slept all week.
So: blah, blah, blah. I’m off to bed.
Short and sweet!
